PART-TIME MARKETING ASSISTANT (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)

Content Conquered is seeking a talented marketing assistant to work on a part-time basis, averaging 15-20 hours per week. Candidates must be able to work on-site in Saline, MI for in-person training and weekly check-ins; remote work is possible at other times.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Conducting market research and participating in the development of client strategies
  • Carrying out internal marketing activities in support Content Conquered
  • Helping manage our clients’ content marketing campaigns by coordinating the completion of content deliverables among our team of creatives
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met
  • Editing and proofreading written content
  • Facilitating project completion and on-time delivery of custom content
  • Updating project management systems, invoicing for completed work, and carrying out other administrative responsibilities required for client engagements
  • Producing client reports using in-house analytics tools 

Who You Are

You’re a marketing nerd (or an aspiring marketing nerd) who understands how inbound marketing helps B2B clients to drive business results. You have a good feel for how content, SEO, social media, paid ads, and other digital marketing disciplines work together, even if you aren’t an expert in each area.

You’re confident working independently on multiple projects with many moving pieces. You’re organized and highly detail-oriented, but also creative when identifying innovative ways to serve our clients. You’re able to work fast in order to meet both internal and external deadlines, without compromising the quality of your work.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 1-5 years related work experience
  • Experience with or knowledge of digital marketing best practices (specifically, inbound and content marketing)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills 
  • Strong organizational skills and good attention to detail
  • Uncompromising ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience with Google Docs (or willingness to learn) 

Desired Qualifications

  • Past experience with or knowledge of B2B marketing best practices (vs B2C)
  • Past professional writing experience, with a portfolio to represent your work
  • Past experience with WordPress or other blogging CMS

PART-TIME MARKETING WRITER (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)

Content Conquered is seeking a talented marketing writer to work on a part-time basis, averaging 15-20 hours per week. Candidates must be able to work on-site in Saline, MI for in-person training and weekly check-ins; remote work is possible at other times.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Creating blog articles, web page content, ebooks, whitepapers, case studies and other written content assets in support of our clients’ marketing campaigns
  • Following instructions provided to you in content briefs
  • Matching your style of writing to the client’s brand voice and brand positioning
  • Conducting research as needed to support written content with relevant data points, statistics, and quotes
  • Writing in a way that supports the client’s strategic initiatives and campaign goals
  • Maintaining confidentiality in compliance with Content Conquered’s client agreements
  • Working within Content Conquered’s project management systems and processes to deliver drafts
  • Editing and proofreading your written content to ensure a high degree of clarity and accuracy
  • Meeting content deadlines as assigned to you

B2B SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN (REMOTE OPPORTUNITY)

Seeking a part-time B2B social media marketing intern to manage our clients’ social media accounts.

Experience preferred:

  • Good understanding of B2B social media strategy
  • Experience working with B2B, vs B2C clients
  • Experience on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Experience creating engaging social content for clients
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Strong communication skills

Responsibilities may include:
